I know what you’re thinking: How does John Romita not know that Spider-Man has lenses over his eyeholes?
Answer: It’s not a mistake. Remember, in the last story, when Spider-Man lost his mask? Well, he’s been using a plastic halloween costume version.
In this issue, he steals his old mask back from JJJ.
That’s pretty much all that happens. The rest of the story is a remake of a non-continuity Spider-Man tale from the old black and white Spectacular Spider-Man magazine.
Bad editing, though, on Harry’s dialogue.

The story over these issues is basically the same as the one in the black and white Spectacular Spider-Man #1. Strange.
