It took the sixteenth annual JLA/JSA team-up to finally squeeze an excellent story out of Gerry Conway. “History’s heroes” come forward to liven up the lives of the JLA and JSA. We get to see Jonah Hex, which is awesome, alongside Black Pirate, Viking Prince and World War II heroes Enemy Ace and Miss Liberty.
Just to be picky, Enemy Ace and Miss Liberty are War heroes, but WWI and the Revolutionary War, not WWII. Marvel’s Miss America was the WWII heroine.
