Why do the X-Men keep Marrow around?

X is back after having been gone for a long time, and this issue has him checking in with a bunch of his students. It’s called “lessons.” It’s the kind of story that is suited for an anthology book like this, but overall it’s not very interesting. Just a check-in with the vast cast of X-characters.
