In the aftermath of Apocalypse: The Twelve, Terry Kavanagh gets just two more issues–and they’re bad. Also, X-Man’s powers are reduced. Like, he can only use telepathy if he touches people.
For this story, X-Man is enslaved by aliens on a Shi’Ar planet, freed by Lilandra, and sent home in a space pod that will take 6 months to get back to Earth. The next issue, #63, starts a new creative team on the book and I guess it takes place a half-year later.
