This is interesting: Back in 1976’s Dr. Strange Annual #1 then up-and-coming artist P. Craig Russel did his best to mimic Steve Ditko in a fine but not memorable story by Marv Wolfman.
Twenty years later, having achieved legendary status, Russell returns to that same exact story, to draw it in his own style…
…the story is still fine. It’s written by Marc Andreyko (oddly, without crediting Marv).
The art is great though.
