Roger Stern (yay!) scripts a Kurt Busiek plot about a time when Baron Mordo stole some magic things and the secret to solving the problem was Spider-Man.
This is their first meeting, but in the end Doc Strange mindwipes Spider-Man so that they can meet again for the first time in Amazing Spider-Man Annual #2.
