Her mom explains that her daddy was Purple Man. She meets Northstar at a skiing event and uses her powers to seduce him.
Interesting that whatever the gender, the purple powers generate rapists. I suspect that’s more a product of the men writing about them than the canon of the mind control power itsef.
Of course it ends up with Alpha Flight helping her become a better person.
It ends with her becoming a member of Beta Flight, the training ground for new Alpha Flighters. And Northstar is remarkably forgiving, thinking only that she’s a “little minx.”
