Nate is still creepily involved with Maddie. Robot giant bugs with drill heads attack Dublin. Nate disappears. Ness emerges from the shadows to help Maddie look for him. This seems to be a cliffhanger ending for #42, but #43 just has X-Man waking up from passing out. Then they investigate a local serial killer who looks like Nate and find out he’s a duplicate of X-Man.
Oh, wait. No. He’s Holocaust. They fight and now Nate is no longer a suspect in the killings.
God this is just interminable. There’s a glimpse of a much better comic book, Love and Rockets, on a bookshelf.
Also, the Psi-Ops team is still hunting X-Man.
