Venom fights then teams up with Wolverine against a bunch of esoteric X-villains. That’s the short version.
The long version? Dirt Nap takes over Venom/Brock.
Dirt Nap has business at the offices of corrupt lawyers Landau, Luckman and Lake, and Wolverine is there, too. Dirt Napn is a Dark Rider–and Wolverine killed a bunch of them–so the stage is set.
The conflict ensues as you would expect it to. It’s reasonably fun–it reads like an installment of Wolverine’s own solo book: A bunch of lesser X-villains fighting Wolverine and Venom.
The story ends with Scream and Venom deciding to team up and hunt Carnage, which will be the next story.
