Doop is that cute, floating blob who serves as X-Statix’s videographer but who also has been known to have a dark side.
In this miniseries, Doop teams up with Marvel’s best-known mutant. They investigate the theft of a Holy relic called the “Pink Mink.” The series ends with Doop literally having the head of one of those responsible mounted on his wall.
And this isn’t the first time he’s beheaded someone.
The story involves Doop and is written by Peter Milligan so of COURSE it is funny and provocative. The details don’t matter in any cosmic sense, but as a reader, they’re fun and fantastic.
