Onslaught is coming but I’m still exhausted from Age of Apocalypse.
Honestly, it’s a big issue but I don’t understand what happens in it. Gateway kidnaps a bunch of X-Men (but I don’t understand why or where he takes them) and they fight Post, who is an emissary of Onslaught. It’s supposed to be a test, but, again, I’m not sure why they’re being tested.
Onslaught communicates to the X-Men at the end, as a psionic entity, and tells them that he’s gonna beat their asses.
I get that they’re trying to build suspense for a truly major event but … It doesn’t really work for me.
