There’s an armored guy called “FACADE” (yes, each letter stands for something and no, there won’t be a quiz on it later). We never find out who was wearing the armor. And we never see him again.
I can’t get invested in the intrigue in this story–which isn’t bad actually–because I know that it doesn’t matter at all and will never amount to anything. This is the last “non-Clone” arc of Web of Spider-Man. Then after “Clone” Web of Spider-Man is cancelled.
