I warily approached this first issue of (yet another) Marvel Knights title starring Punisher, but I was happy to see that it’s written by Garth Ennis. Another reason for my suspicion that this would be bad was that it’s an anthology title—multiple stories per issue—and those usually don’t go well. Again, I was pleasantly surprised.
This is the pretty famous “dentist” issue, which is told from the point of view of the inside of the mouth of a crime boss.
Honestly, I could post all 12 pages of this terrifying, violent, hilarious story. Absolutely A+ work, with perfect art by Editor in Chief Joe Quesada.
The second story is a short Daredevil story by Rob Haynes. He makes the most of his twelve pages, too, with a story about Kingpin’s underwear.
