Wolverine and Nightcrawler team up to fight a mutant with the power to animate and shape metal. His name is Reanimator, and when he creates a fake Magneto, Logan and Kurt go and investigate and break all his toys. Reanimator escapes.
Then the pair go to dinner and are attacked by Solo and Cardiac.
This story takes place just before the Shattering event, which means Wolverine is actually a skrull. But the casual reader wouldn’t know that, so I’m tagging him as Wolverine.
