In a story called “The End,” we learn that Monica Lynne (Black Panther’s ex-GF) has been taken by Killmonger. One of the Dora Milaje, named Nakia, failed to protect her and was captured and tortured by Achebe. That will be important later.
Meanwhile, all of Panther’s trusted allies are unavailable, so he has to rely on Agent Ross to rule Wakanda while he tries to figure out her whereabouts.
He heads to Avengers Mansion, but they’re all out on a mission so he has to rely on a reservist for help with his rescue mission.
