OK, so I got into reading this series before realizing it wasn’t canon. Apparently, some MAX books about 616 characters are canon and others about 616 characters are not, and as a reader you kind of figure that out as you go.
Having said that, I have no regrets. The creative team is one of the best of the early 2000s (or any period, frankly).
This comic is gross and violent and definitely for adults only.
