As part of the Onslaught fallout/Graydon Creed’s Presidential run, the world is being given fake news that Professor X killed the Avengers (and he kinda did I guess). So Hercules goes to the mansion to get to the bottom of it and see if Quicksilver wants to join a new Avengers team. He does.
That’s the “story” such as it is. It feels like we’re treading water until there can be another huge event that will undoubtedly be disappointing.
