MARVEL FANFARE #1 (1996)

It’s baaaaack!  Marvel’s anthology collection designed to clean inventory out of desk-drawers returns, but without the fun Editori-Al features (where Editor Al Milgrom would explain the publication history of each issue’s stories) and, apparently, with in-continuity stories.

So what’s the difference between this and Marvel Super Heroes or Marvel Comics Presents?

None, really.

Issue #1 has Captain America, Falcon, and Deathlok teaming up when the Time Variance Authority asks Captain America to stop Deathlok from making any other changes to the future.

No, it doesn’t make a lot of sense.  TVA is basically saying, “We only want him to make the changes we like, not the ones we don’t.”

It’s not very good.
