In Quasar #19, Doctor Strange and Quasar tried to send the Squadron Supreme back to their home dimension. This one-shot tells what happened after that.
It turns out they were stuck in a pocket dimension for three years.
So, this is their “Heroes Return.” I really like that–nice touch.
When they get back, they see that their homeworld has been taken over by militarized corporations–and they have to set things right again. This comic just have them figuring out the best way to do that–with arguments about whether to reshape the world in the image they think beset–and ends with the battle to free their Earth “just beginning.”
It’s a solid start. I wish there were more issues.
