Iron Fist’s half-sister Miranda takes on the identity of Death Sting, and wants to steal the Zodiac Key from SHIELD
After allying with several low-level criminals like Sidewinder and Scimitar, she kidnaps Iron Fist’s friend Joy Meachum and coerces Danny (who thinks Miranda is long-dead) into stealing the key.
Miranda wants the key to give to the alien plant race H’ylthri, who can make her “normal” again.
SHIELD and Iron Fist team-up at the end to get the key back, and Miranda is believed dead–but we see on the final page that she has survived and has “normal” skin.
