Kitty Pryde gets her first true solo series. She doesn’t share billing with anyone and she is the only major Marvel character who appears in it.
Kitty is in college and has decided to leave the X-men behind. While attending University of Chicago, she meets Karma who is also living the normal life in the Chi. She also meets a guy named Shola Inkosi, an exchange student from Genosha who is also a mutant.
Inkosi has some kind of telekinesis powers. He’ll be back, so I guess that’s the lasting impact of this series.
Racism against mutants. The three of them have to use their powers when they’re attacked by Sentinels. Yodda yodda yodda. Nothing fresh here.
